Parilla is
America's premiere singing gorilla, wielding an extensive song list and
always at the ready to perform in an entertaining manner. The constant
refusal to do singing telegrams is what motivates Sass Parilla, the
Singing Gorilla's ongoing quest to become the greatest singing gorilla
history will ever know. Sass is the ultimate emcee, with a
trained voice, musical knowledge, and a witty, improvisational comedic
style that puts him at the forefront of musical comedy. As a
one
man act Sass has minimal set-up time which makes him the perfect
inbetweener. Have him play songs between acts and hold
attention
during down time. First in 2001 it began as the blue,
singing gorilla played solo gigs using nothing but his upright
bass. Before this gorilla knew it, he was being asked to open
for
some of Atlanta's cutting edge bands. Next thing you know,
he's hired to perform at all types of private functions. He's also
performed with the original Atlanta troupes of beautiful women, Big City
Burlesque and the Doll Squad. Add on
numerous radio appearances and a short feature film entitled "The
Adventures of Sass Parilla, the Singing Gorilla," and you
have a
performer fast becoming the singing gorilla of the millenium. Sass is
available for clubs, radio and television appearances, voice artist
work, commercials, and private events.
